Requirements
  • Chartered Accountant, Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or Semi Qualified Chartered Accountant.
  • One to two years of accounting experience in a similar position.
  • Hands-on Microsoft Excel skills with strong analytical capabilities.
  • Fluent spoken and written English.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks with attention to detail and reliability.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with internal teams; limited coordination across time zones may be required.
Responsibilities
  • Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and adherence to approval workflows.
  • Perform two-way or three-way matching of purchase orders, invoices, and receipts where applicable.
  • Support vendor onboarding, master data maintenance, and documentation validation.
  • Investigate invoice discrepancies, payment exceptions, and vendor queries in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and record journal entries to support a timely month-end close using NetSuite ERP.
  • Analyze monthly balance sheet reconciliations for assigned accounts and investigate discrepancies or aged open items.
  • Record cash and expense transactions, ensuring accurate and consistent categorization.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure accurate expense allocation and vendor accounting.
  • Support timely payment and compliance of statutory dues, including preparation of required data and coordination.
  • Assist with accrual calculations, vendor documentation review, and contract-related accounting support.
  • Support preparation of monthly financial and management reports.
  • Support external audits, including preparation of schedules and responding to data requests.
  • Ensure adherence to internal controls, approval workflows, and process compliance requirements.
Desired Qualifications
  • Understanding of SQL or Python is an added advantage.
