Requirements
  • 5-7 years of legal experience, with meaningful in-house experience in contract negotiation.
  • SaaS contract negotiation experience is a plus
  • Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school with excellent academic credentials
  • Admittance to practice law in your jurisdiction of residence
  • Experience in counseling in privacy and/or data security is a plus
  • Experience in counseling on labor and employment issues
  • Detail-oriented and highly motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and professional demeanor
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects/large workloads, and keep deadlines
  • Exceptional business judgment, analytical skills, and critical thinking with demonstrated success working as a team player in a fast-paced environment
  • Permanent residence in the East or Central U.S. Time Zone
Responsibilities
  • Review, negotiate and approve various customer and vendor contracts covering a range of transactions
  • Provide specialized insight and training to internal stakeholders on issues related to privacy and data security, intellectual property, corporate governance, and/or employment.
  • Partner with various internal departments, including human resources, to advise on legal issues and update company policies.
