Requirements
  • A B.S. degree in Computer Science, a similar technical discipline, or equivalent practical experience, plus two or more years of relevant industry experience.
  • Proficiency in C programming in a Linux development environment.
  • Experience with multithreaded programming and large-scale, distributed, and/or high-performance software design and architecture.
  • Experience with TCP/IP networking software development.
  • A demonstrated willingness and ability to leverage artificial intelligence to maximize productivity and operational efficiency.
  • At least seven years of professional experience in the security or networking industry.
  • A can-do attitude, comfort working in a dynamic environment, and willingness to learn new technologies and platforms.
Responsibilities
  • Innovate, design, develop, and improve the next-generation firewall in terms of functionality and performance, including device identity solutions.
  • Own and take responsibility for critical components in the next-generation firewall system.
  • Deliver high-quality, high-performance features and improvements for critical components.
  • Work closely with team members and cross-functional teams as a networking and security expert to design and architect innovative solutions.
  • Work with product management on user requirements, apply knowledge to functional design, implement efficient and robust software, and interact with quality assurance and field support teams throughout the software development cycle.
Desired Qualifications
  • A graduate degree (MS or Ph.D.) in Computer Science or a similar technical discipline, or equivalent military experience.
  • Experience with Redis or a NoSQL database.
  • Experience with Go or Python.

The company posted a GAAP net loss of $282 million for the quarter, driven by fair-value changes on convertible notes and integration costs.
