About the job

Requirements
  • Demonstrable depth in AI engineering, including real systems involving substantive decisions about agent harnesses, evaluations, hallucination containment, performance, agent sandboxing, or MCP/tool design.
  • Strong product engineering and technical judgment across interface, backend, data, and deployment, with first-principles reasoning and deliberate tool selection.
  • Professional work, open-source contributions, personal products, research, or hackathon results that demonstrate exceptional output.
  • More than one year of professional experience; approximately two or more years is useful, but evidence matters more than tenure.

  • Sophisticated use of large language model tools for coding, understanding their strengths and weaknesses, and building systems that leverage them effectively.
Responsibilities
  • Build and ship high-quality, high-velocity code across the full stack, including front-end, back-end, and AI-agent infrastructure.
  • Build products end-to-end and design systems from discovery through production.
  • Design harnesses, evaluations, and safeguards for reliable agent systems.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience integrating large language models into a daily workflow as a force multiplier.
  • Approximately two or more years of experience.

About the company

Calibre builds enterprise AI software for the testing, inspection, and certification (TIC) industry, creating AI agents that work within a client’s existing standards, workflows, and security rules. The agents automate tasks such as reviewing large document sets, generating audit reports, and checking compliance with relevant norms, while AuditorOS extends these capabilities to independent auditors for document review, report writing, and cross-referencing standards. Instead of generic chatbots, Calibre deploys these systems inside client organizations and accreditation bodies to reduce mechanical work and let auditors focus on judgment-based decisions. The company aims to expand enterprise contracts and scale AuditorOS to speed up certification cycles, address a skills shortage in TIC, and improve efficiency and accuracy across regulated industries.
