Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree Engineering-related field or similar.
  • Must have 2-3 years of Quality experience in an ISO 9001 or ISO 16949 environment.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent time-management, communication, technical writing and presentation skills.
  • Strong process development, facilitation, and organizational skills.
  • Thorough knowledge of Quality methods and systems mentioned above.
  • Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent understanding of Quality Tools and Microsoft Office applications.
  • Ability to accommodate for multiple time zones and supporting global teams.
Responsibilities
  • Lead, coordinate, and perform activities associated with Asurion’s Quality program.
  • Develop internal Quality policies and procedures as required.
  • Perform capability and Quality assessments.
  • Oversee disposition of Process Change requests.
  • Create, review, and approve Process Flows, PFMEAs, and Control Plans.
  • Participate in ISO and Six Sigma initiatives.
  • Work with TLC Operations on conducting root cause analyses and issuing corrective actions.
  • Lead or participate in Quality Planning processes.
  • Participate in and lead Quality improvement activities to provide technical assistance.
  • Manage Quality issues to improve Asurion products and services.
  • Review and approve TLC deviation requests.
  • Establish the appropriate Quality plans for a given commodity or internal processes.
  • Track, gather, summarize, and report on Quality information.
  • Maintain Quality and Operations performance levels.
  • Attend and participate in Quality and Operations meetings to represent the Quality team.
  • Perform root cause analysis of quality issues and provide recommendations for solutions.
  • Assist in the deployment of Quality tools and systems to other functions.
  • Assist in developing work instructions, job aids, and/or other training materials.
  • Create and submit deviations for process changes as required.
  • Manage all non-conforming materials and issue purge letters as needed.
  • Prepare and maintain files, summaries, and reports related to Quality projects.
  • Develop standardized process for internal issue escalation.
  • Develop higher level knowledge in Asurion systems (SharePoint, DAX, PowerBI).
  • Develop higher level knowledge in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Collaborate across departmental boundaries as required.
  • Assume responsibility for technical accuracy and completeness of all Quality documents.
  • Conduct internal audits to correctly document and resolve non-conformances.
Desired Qualifications
  • Preferred ASQ (American Society for Quality) certification (CQE, CQA, CMQOE, etc).
  • Preferred experience in various types of distribution and logistics centers.
  • Preferred experience in the wireless industry or contract electronics manufacturing.
