Responsibilities
  • Learn and master the intricacies of Verdin’s cast bell products, including bell ringing hardware, mechanical equipment, and electronic controllers.
  • Become knowledgeable about the liturgical and bell ringing traditions of various denominations, focusing on the Roman Catholic Church.
  • Evaluate inbound sales leads for cast bell renovation projects.
  • Investigate existing customer files for relevant information on legacy products.
  • Travel to customer locations to inspect and assess current bell installations and conditions.
  • Draft comprehensive reports with photos, sketches, and measurements of existing installations.
  • Collaborate with the Special Projects Manager and CEO to develop scope and pricing for renovation proposals.
  • Provide guidance to sales representatives on cast bell renovation projects.
  • Work with Production and Field Service Technicians on fabrication and installation requirements.
  • Assist in the review of completed projects, particularly those with underperforming gross margins, to identify areas for improvement.
