Requirements
  • Five or more years of experience in pre-sales solution consulting, analytics consulting, customer-facing roles at data or software-as-a-service companies, or adjacent strategy or product roles with significant client interaction.

Responsibilities
  • Partner with Sales and Account teams to drive new business, expansion, and long-term strategic growth across key industries including Consumer Goods, Retail, Travel, and Financial Services.
  • Lead discovery conversations to deeply understand client objectives, pain points, workflows, and technical environments.
  • Translate business requirements into clear data strategies, solution designs, and integration blueprints.
  • Deliver compelling, insight-driven presentations, workshops, custom analyses, and live product demonstrations that showcase differentiated value.
  • Design scalable solutions leveraging APIs, data feeds, consulting engagements, or hybrid delivery models to ensure seamless integration into client ecosystems.
  • Act as the bridge between client needs and internal teams, providing structured feedback to Product and Research and Development to inform roadmap priorities.
  • Develop industry-specific expertise and reusable go-to-market assets to position Similarweb as a strategic thought partner—not just a data provider.

Carlsquare has advised XPLN, a provider of AI-driven digital shelf analytics and pricing intelligence solutions, and its shareholders EKK & Co. and Parsionate Group on the company's sale to Similarweb, a US-based publicly listed data provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. XPLN has spent over ten years providing digital shelf analytics that help consumer brands optimise product content, pricing and performance across e-commerce channels, serving more than 100 brands. The acquisition will combine XPLN's digital shelf analytics platform with Similarweb's consumer behaviour data across 750-plus global retailers. XPLN's team, platform and service commitment will remain unchanged following the transaction. Carlsquare acted as exclusive financial adviser to XPLN's shareholders.
