Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Communication or related field and/or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 7+ years of related project and/or program management experience, ideally in a product development, education, event planning, administrative or consulting environment.
  • Experience in planning, managing, and delivering large scale programs.
  • Product development lifecycle knowledge highly encouraged.
  • Excellent interpersonal and influencing skills with experience establishing credibility and working relationships at all levels across the organization.
  • Ability to hold employees accountable to preparation and participation expectations in a non-authoritative manner.
  • Proven ability to communicate and influence in a collaborative, team oriented, and complex global environment.
  • Strong program management skills along with the ability to support and mentor others in these domains.
  • Strong creative thinking skills and ability to iterate quickly from cohort to cohort.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating effective listening through concise, clear verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to travel domestically and internationally (<25%).
  • Demonstrated experience working with Sr. leadership and leadership teams.

Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Senior Footwear Leadership to identify key knowledge opportunities to accelerate current and new employee impact on the footwear creation process.
  • Brainstorm creative ways to deliver knowledge while maintaining high engagement and retention.
  • Innovate, build and own Brooks Academy programs that have a measurable impact on footwear employee knowledge.
  • Collaborate with leadership to define the roadmap for the Brooks Academy Program.
  • Build out a detailed plan and budget for delivering against the Brooks Academy objectives and partner with content subject matter experts to implement the plan and execute within budget.
  • Establish goals for each Academy training project and methods on how to measure success.
  • Implement and manage various education materials and tools to broaden footwear employee learning ranging from entry level to advanced experiences levels.
  • Act as the subject matter expert on footwear employee education and develop, institute, and maintain unified onboarding programs specific to the footwear department to create universal new employee experiences.
  • Build relationships across Footwear and cross-functionally with Marketing, Sales, Apparel and Operations to stay informed on current business landscape in order to keep Academy content up to date.
  • Evaluate current and future training needs for Brooks academy and develop plans to meet training goals with an eye towards trends in best practices and current business and industry trends.
  • Lead multiple programs while simultaneously maintaining ownership for deliverables and any associated change management for each program.
  • Lead the planning and facilitation of multi-day training sessions with up to 20 participants.
  • Create and maintain detailed project plans for each Brooks Academy program.
  • Create e-learning content in our enterprise Learning Management System (LMS) to greater engage and educate employees and supplement and complement program offerings.
  • Make learnings stick…. define feedback mechanisms that go beyond program “go live” or post cohort attendance. Design ongoing resources to keep programs and training top of mind.
  • Identify metrics and tools to measure program success and assess and summarize employee engagement; provide updates to Footwear leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Use data to identify trends and quickly resolve defects, while simultaneously measuring success against defined success metrics.
  • Define feedback mechanisms and design ongoing communication after Academy cohorts and new footwear employee onboarding to keep programs relevant and up to date.
  • Monitor the performance of presenters and provide feedback/coaching on best practices to improve impact and employee engagement.
  • Build a system for actively tracking updates to module content and ensure applicable employees are educated on the latest information, processes, and technologies.
  • Maintain knowledge of internal and external best practices related to learning and development; provide recommendations to evolve our processes and lead implementation of new tools/methodologies into Brooks.
  • Hold teams accountable for deliverables by positively influencing within Footwear.
  • May manage up to 1 direct report - including goal setting, performance review, and support of their career development to enhance job satisfaction, retention and to identify and develop bench strength.
  • Partner with HR Business Partners to create digital assets utilizing Looop that focus on foundational knowledge for in the moment education opportunities.
  • Partner with HR to create an onboarding bridge from New Employee Orientation to Brooks Footwear Academy Graduate.
