Experience with data processing tools such as pandas and NumPy.
Comfort working with JSON, application programming interfaces, and automation workflows.
Active TS/SCI clearance with CI polygraph.

Responsibilities

Design and implement Python-based tools and utilities.
Prepare, clean, and structure datasets for use in artificial intelligence and machine learning pipelines.
Collaborate on developing AI agents, including integration and orchestration logic.
Work with technical leads to understand requirements and translate them into code.
Research and apply modern Python libraries related to data manipulation, application programming interfaces, and automation.
Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code.
Support iterative testing and improvement of agent behavior.

Python Developer – AI Agent Development

Department: Govt Customer-Springfield

Location: Springfield, VA

TENICA is looking to hire a Python developer with the curiosity and technical foundation to support the development of AI agents.

Must have active TS/SCI with CI poly.

Responsibilities:

Design and implement Python-based tools and utilities
Prepare, clean, and structure datasets for use in AI/ML pipelines
Collaborate on developing AI agents, including integration and orchestration logic
Work with technical leads to understand requirements and translate them into code
Research and apply modern Python libraries related to data manipulation, APIs, and automation
Write clear, maintainable, and well-documented code
Support iterative testing and improvement of agent behavior

Qualifications:

Education and/or Experience:

Proficiency in Python with 2–5+ years of hands-on experience
Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, or strong interest in learning quickly
Experience with data processing tools (e.g., pandas, NumPy)
Comfort working with JSON, APIs, and automation workflows
