Requirements
  • BS/BA degree in related field (or equivalent) plus approximately 5 years of related experience.
  • Security Clearance requirements for Engagement Teams handling sensitive engagements in the Federal Marketplace; a Security Clearance is a valued asset and adds to credentials.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office including Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint and Word; proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio; ability to quickly learn other tools as necessary.
Responsibilities
  • Assist in the development and facilitation of a series of 2-3 staff and stakeholders' meetings to obtain feedback and buy in for these goals; Based on feedback and follow-up sessions, work with the leadership team to finalize the Strategic Goals and develop objectives;
  • Coordinate with other agencies in the design and review of emergency management plans;
  • Assist in the development of a series of employee feedback meetings to capture the current state and challenges in moving forward on all the strategic goals;
  • Support the conduct of concept meetings with the Office of Emergency Management Leadership Team to develop an initial a set of 4-6 specific three-year strategic goals;
  • Develop and monitor agreements, documents, public education, and training required to effectively deliver emergency management programs;
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and support project teams and program managers and provide daily execution assigned work functions;
  • Good presentation skills and be able to communicate effectively orally and in writing to support a myriad of standard services required across the department.
