As a US Federal Government Account Executive, reporting to our Senior Director of Public Sector Business with Bugcrowd, you’ll be responsible for the end-to-end sales process with government agencies from prospecting to identifying opportunities to closing contracts with the goal of meeting yearly revenue and growth objectives. This role will be instrumental in building and executing the public sector go-to-market plan, including direct and indirect selling strategies. Your experience and knowledge to advance the Bugcrowd brand while increasing the understood value of the Bugcrowd offerings. Collaboration and working with all teams internally to advocate and educate around the Federal Government requirements will be one of many aspects of this role. This is a high-energy, fast-paced and evolving position, being comfortable with change is a must, as we continue to grow and evolve as an organization.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

- Achieve yearly quota base on assigned federal territory
- Build 3x quota pipeline with consistent growth and results
- Evangelize Crowdsourced Security across any division of the US government
- Create a US Federal Government territory plan
- Act as the Subject Matter Expert for the Federal marketplace, develop and maintain up-to-date knowledge of current projects and key drivers
- Build and strengthen your business relationship with existing accounts; follow-up to ensure all their post-sales needs are being met
- Actively seek out new sales leads and business opportunities through market research, active networking, and utilizing business referrals
- Develop workflows of previous and current Bugcrowd contract process and initiate new workflows enhancing Bugcrowd’s ability to gain additional contracts
- Build relationships with key individuals in the US federal government
- Build relationships with federal partners and integrators
- Proactively keep abreast of US Federal Government initiatives
- Work closely with product management and operations to meet specific US government requirements
- Diligently manage time spent across major selling activities: prospecting, opportunity management, customer growth and internal activities (like Salesforce.com hygiene)

Experience:
- 7+ years of work experience - Infosec and Federal agency experience required
- Strong knowledge of the US Federal structure and buying styles
- Proven track record of developing a sales strategy and overachieving sales objectives.
- Proven track record of selling into the US Federal government
- Proven track record of building Federal partner and integrator relationships
- A demonstrated strong work ethic focused on achieving goals.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Individually driven with ability to effectively manage work time.
- Great cross-functional working relationships are necessary
- Must want a career-oriented environment focused at driving the Bugcrowd Mission with professionalism, integrity and fun

The base pay range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions, including but not limited to Qualifications, Geographical Location, Education/certifications, Experience, Skill Sets, Training, and other business and organizational needs.
At Bugcrowd, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for Remote, Washington DC for the position of Federal Account Executive is: $117,810 - $146,190. Candidate must sit in D.C. Metro to be considered.
This position may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary bonus program or commission plan, subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors, including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance.
