About the job
- A valid commercial driver's license (CDL) appropriate for the vehicle being operated is required.
- Previous experience operating a truck-mounted crane or panel crane truck is required.
- Knowledge of safe rigging, lifting, load securement, and crane operations is required.
- The candidate must be able to safely maneuver large commercial vehicles on active construction sites.
- The candidate must be able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- A clean driving record is required.
- Safely drive a concrete form panel crane truck to and from jobsites.
- Operate the truck-mounted crane to load, unload, and place concrete forms.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections.
- Secure loads properly and verify equipment before transport.
- Set up the crane safely, including outriggers and appropriate work-zone precautions.
- Communicate with foremen, crews, and signal persons during lifting operations.
- Follow company, Department of Transportation, Occupational Safety and Health Administration, and jobsite safety requirements.
- Maintain accurate inspection, delivery, and equipment records.
- Assist crews with material handling and jobsite operations as needed.
- Maintain the truck and crane in clean, safe operating condition.
