TheSoul Group, OTT Studio partner to distribute content across social media. June 17, 2026 TheSoul Group, a digital entertainment company, June 17 announced a partnership with OTT Studio to distribute long-form entertainment content across YouTube and other social media platforms. The agreement will focus on expanding audience reach and monetization opportunities for OTT Studio's catalog of films, series, documentaries and other programming through a comprehensive YouTube-focused distribution strategy. The partnership will include OTT Studio's brands Free Movies Plus and Christmas Plus, extending these connected-TV platforms onto YouTube. "We believe content owners today need far more than simple digital uploads," said James Patrick, co-founder of OTT Studio. "TheSoul Group brings sophisticated operational capabilities, deep platform expertise, and proven audience engagement strategies that make them an ideal partner as we continue expanding the reach and value of our streaming brands' catalogues across YouTube and social video ecosystems." The initial rollout will feature a range of content genres, including action, drama, romance, documentary, comedy, and horror titles optimized for growing connected-TV and YouTube audiences. OTT Studio operates more than 30 video networks and FAST channels spanning movies, television, kids programming, music, sports and seasonal entertainment. Across its brands and networks, OTT Studio has generated more than 20 million organic connected TV installs. TheSoul Publishing, a Cyprus-based media holding, acquired a controlling stake in Belarusian company Mediacube, a certified partner of YouTube and Meta. The deal was announced by TheSoul's CEO Artur Mamedov and Mediacube's CEO Mikhail Bychenok. Previously, Zubr Capital, a private investment firm with Belarusian roots, held a minority stake in Mediacube, valued between $3.5 million and $10 million for a 25-40% share. The acquisition aligns with TheSoul's strategy to enhance its multi-platform ecosystem.
This acquisition represents another step in TheSoul Publishing's ongoing strategy to develop an integrated multi-platform creator ecosystem.
