Responsibilities
  • Develop, direct and coordinate the complete marketing plan for a category that drives brand strategies
  • Develop programs that will maximize the brand's awareness and sales, through the message and media that are meaningful to retailers and consumers
  • Applies business and management expertise to achieve financial and operational objectives within or across disciplines or departments
  • Manages team and sets team and individual goals that align with department and function goals
  • Leads staff, creates opportunities for staff development, makes hiring decisions, and drives performance management, recognition and rewards
  • Develops team structure that facilitates and maximizes individual and team performance
  • Creates the category brand plan and multiyear cat-strategy
  • Leads the communication of the cat brand plan with the non-key territories and leads execution in partnership with global team for the key territories
  • Transforms marketing global strategy/direction into categorical and seasonal go to market execution
  • Manages budget for all cat-marketing executions
  • Drives annual concept map
  • Leads categorical and seasonal event execution and evaluation
  • Maintains close relationships with key consumer groups, such as sports marketing, event marketing, and regional marketing teams
  • Leads the development of strategic marketing plans and briefs
