Requirements

Subject matter expertise to provide Finance functional solution for various modules and expert knowledge in Core finance accounting.
Workday Financials solution knowledge to ensure that all work streams are cohesive and cross functional impacts are considered and mitigated.
Workday financial module knowledge in Finance accounting (Mandatory) and additional knowledge in Supplier & Customer Account, financial reporting & planning.
Ability to understand business need for Finance Accounting module and translate it to a Workday solution. (Configuring BP, Security, Setups, Data Conversion, Testing and Reports)
Preferable to have Workday finance functional certification of finance Accounting (Record to Report workday certification) Advise clients on industry standards and leading best practices for Workday Projects & AMS / Support.
Understand and knowledge of Workday Application development methodologies. (Plan, Design, Test and Deployment, Post-production support)
Demonstrate strong client and stakeholder management to achieve project objectives.
Conduct working sessions with clients to gather, understand, and analyze business requirements.
Work with Business teams / SME’s in the identification of business requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures
Support innovation through the creation of new industry leading methods

Responsibilities

Provide Finance functional solutions leveraging Workday Financials and Core Finance Accounting knowledge across modules.
Ensure cohesion across work streams and mitigate cross-functional impacts in Workday Financials projects.
Translate business needs for Finance Accounting into Workday configurations including business processes, security, setups, data conversion, testing and reports.
Conduct client working sessions to gather and analyze business requirements and translate into functional design and prototypes.
Collaborate with Business teams/Subject Matter Experts on requirements, functional design, process design, prototyping, testing, training, and defining support procedures.
Provide advisory input on industry standards and best practices for Workday Projects and Application Management Services/Support.
Participate in Plan, Design, Test, Deployment, and Post-production support activities for Workday application development methodologies.

Desired Qualifications

Workday finance functional certification in Record to Report (Finance Accounting)
Advising clients on industry standards and leading best practices for Workday Projects & AMS / Support
Knowledge of Supplier & Customer Accounts, financial reporting & planning in Workday
