About the job
- A technical BEP, vocational baccalaureate, or BTS qualification in industrial maintenance, construction or agricultural equipment maintenance, or a related technical area.
- Initial experience in a similar position.
- Recognized professional expertise in technical maintenance and knowledge of construction and public-works equipment.
- A strong service orientation and ability to work as part of a team.
- Ensure the technical condition, safety, compliance, and presentation of equipment offered for rental.
- Organize workshop work, including schedules, interventions, and repairs.
- Maintain and repair equipment, diagnose breakdowns, perform on-site troubleshooting when necessary, and inspect repairs performed by subcontractors.
- Plan the activities of the workshop and yard team, conduct a weekly yard inspection with the yard manager, and provide or arrange training for the workshop team when necessary.
- Prepare quotations and supplier purchase orders.
- Check the conformity of purchased parts and services upon receipt.
- Schedule periodic maintenance and regulatory inspections with customers and manage their follow-up.
- Keep workshop activity records up to date, including revision checklists, equipment records, and intervention reports.
- Report work progress against established objectives.
- Manage the stock of parts and consumables.
- Participate in the evaluation of local suppliers.
