About the company

Squatters Pubs operates Utah restaurants and brewpubs where diners order food, craft beer, wine and cocktails. Its locations include neighborhood pubs, a café, a Park City roadhouse and airport restaurants, with menus spanning lunch, dinner, breakfast and weekend brunch according to the venue. The downtown brewpub makes beer on site, letting guests watch the brewing process while they eat. Guests can dine in, reserve tables at selected venues or use location-specific online ordering links for takeaway meals. The restaurant business began in 1989 and operates under Salt Lake Brewing Co., with locations in Salt Lake City, West Valley City and Park City.

Simplify Jobs

Simplify's Take

What believers are saying

  • Staff development: Restaurant managers must ensure employees receive continual job training, giving crews an explicit development commitment.
  • Off-site orders: Boxed lunches and shareable platters extend sales to workplace meetings and customer-hosted gatherings.
  • Accessible entry: The airport cashier posting prefers six months' experience and accepts applicants from age eighteen.

What critics are saying

  • Line-cook demands: The advertised role requires nights, weekends and holidays plus frequent lifting up to fifty pounds.
  • Management burden: Restaurant managers combine staffing, alcohol-law compliance, cash reconciliation and draft-system troubleshooting.
  • Reward exclusions: Alcohol, tax and gratuities do not earn dining rewards, narrowing the loyalty program's spending base.

What makes Squatters Pubs unique

  • Shared loyalty: Eligible spending earns points across the restaurant group, encouraging customers to return to different locations.
  • Flexible venues: Downtown's Loft and Grain Room book separately or together, accommodating different event sizes.
  • Procurement choices: Menus emphasize sustainable, local, humanely sourced ingredients and locally distilled spirits.
