Responsibilities
  • Own end-to-end product management for assigned commercial banking products, from discovery through launch and lifecycle management
  • Partner with the FVP to define and execute product roadmaps aligned to bank strategy, growth objectives, and customer needs
  • Identify opportunities for product innovation, modernization, and expansion across commercial segments
  • AI Roadmap Integration: Partner with core AI team to drive AI-driven use cases within the long-term product vision.
  • Conduct ongoing market, customer, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and prioritization
  • Translate customer pain points and business needs into clear product value propositions
  • Leverage data, insights, and feedback loops to continuously improve product experience and outcomes
  • Translate business needs into clear product requirements, user stories, and prioritization frameworks
  • Lead cross-functional execution with technology, operations, risk, compliance, marketing, and servicing teams
  • Ensure timely, high-quality delivery of product initiatives within scope and budget
  • Cross-Functional AI Orchestration: Lead the collaboration between IT and AI development teams to ensure data availability, model scalability, and seamless integration into the core banking infrastructure
  • Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage third-party AI vendors and fintech partners, ensuring their solutions align with the bank’s technical standards and product goals
  • Partner closely with risk, compliance, legal, and operations teams to ensure products meet regulatory, policy, and operational standards
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks throughout the product lifecycle
  • Balance innovation with sound risk management and operational resilience
  • Define product success metrics (KPIs), monitor performance, and drive data-driven decisions
  • Assess financial impact, profitability, pricing, and cost considerations for product initiatives
  • Use insights to optimize product performance and inform future roadmap decisions
  • Serve as a trusted product partner to senior leaders and cross-functional stakeholders

"Expanding our presence across the Western U.S. represents an important strategic milestone for Metropolitan Commercial Bank," Mark R. DeFazio, founder, president and CEO of MCB, said. "We continue to invest in specialty banking solutions, deepen our commercial banking platform, and build relationships in markets that align with our long-term growth strategy." Hasler brings more than 20 years of experience in commercial banking, treasury management and specialty deposit services. Throughout his career, he has worked with title and escrow companies, 1031 exchange firms, HOA banking clients, trust-related businesses and other fiduciary-focused industries across the Western United States. At MCB, Hasler will focus on expanding the bank's specialty deposit platform throughout Western U.S. markets, supporting existing verticals and developing new commercial banking relationships.
