Requirements
  • Candidates must possess a Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a closely related field.
  • Candidates must live locally, within one hour of the service territory.
  • Candidates must provide therapy inside family homes as a regular part of the position.
  • Candidates must maintain a flexible, non-traditional schedule, including evenings and weekends as needed based on youth and family availability.
  • Candidates must regularly travel throughout the identified service territory, including Anderson and Greenwood, to meet with families and provide services.
  • Candidates must have experience working with youth and families.
  • Candidates must communicate effectively and engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.
Responsibilities
  • Deliver individualized therapy to families in home, school, and community settings using a strengths-based, solution-focused approach.
  • Engage family members in therapy and support their involvement in treatment, emphasizing communication, problem-solving, and positive parenting techniques.
  • Collaborate with schools, community organizations, and other service providers to coordinate client care and support.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to families dealing with immediate issues or emergencies while ensuring safety and stability.
  • Participate in initial and ongoing training, supervision, and team case staffing.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience working with youth and families.
  • Good communication skills and the ability to engage and collaborate effectively with individuals and families.
