Requirements
  • Prior experience in a litigation support or legal administrative role.
  • Familiarity with deposition procedures and legal calendaring.
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in case management systems.
  • Ability to work full time on site Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., with overtime when necessary to meet litigation deadlines, trial schedules, and case demands.
Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve deposition notices, personal-appearance subpoenas, and objections.
  • Research witness information to ensure subpoenas are served at the correct locations.
  • Coordinate out-of-state subpoenas and stakeouts, including third-party vendor work for domestications and filing discovery requests where required.
  • Schedule and confirm court reporters, videographers, and interpreters for depositions, trials, and client meetings.
  • Book and manage conference rooms for depositions at firm offices and third-party locations.
  • Support client deposition preparation at attorneys' direction.
  • Order and save deposition transcripts and videos, and organize and maintain them in Litify and Dropbox.
  • Process service of complaints and discovery.
