Required Skills
  • BS or MS in Computer Science, Electronics, or relevant engineering discipline
  • Hands-on experience with verifying software requirements, design, code, and integration
  • Strong and applied knowledge of complex electronics for safety-critical systems
  • 5+ years of avionics software development or verification experience
  • Strong understanding of RTOS concepts and concurrent software design
  • Experience with MathWorks Model-Based Development tools
  • Familiarity with reading schematics and basic hardware debugging
  • Proficient in Python and other scripting languages
  • Exposure to SysML or UML
  • Familiarity with industry standard tools like Jira, Git, Teamcenter, Google Cloud applications
  • Act as a Senior Software Engineer for verification of a novel type of aircraft targeting the autonomous UAM market
  • Participate in software verification activities per DO-178C and its supplements
  • Support peer Software Engineers in reviewing certification artifacts
  • Help coordinate and perform reviews of software lifecycle data
  • Work closely with Software Engineers, Systems Engineers, suppliers, and contractors
  • Plan and execute mentorship programs for junior Software Engineers
  • Define processes and tools related to software verification
