Job Summary:
The System Test / Reliability Specialist: A System Test / Reliability Specialist possesses expert knowledge in testing methodologies and reliability engineering. They focus on specialized areas of system testing and are pivotal in developing advanced testing strategies and reliability models.
Responsibilities:

- Lead product troubleshooting, failure analysis, and root cause analysis
- Create and compile technical reports based on data collected from various sources
- Manage projects, or sub projects, including timelines and budgets and work in an interdisciplinary team
System Testing:
• Develop and execute system test plans.
• Identify and document defects.
• Perform regression testing.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
Reliability Analysis:
• Conduct root cause analysis for system failures.
• Perform reliability calculations and predictions.
• Monitor and track system performance.
• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions.
• Provide recommendations for design changes to improve reliability.
Documentation and Reporting:
• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of test results and findings.
• Create reports on system reliability and performance.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to stakeholders.
• Track and report on progress of reliability improvement initiatives.
• Ensure compliance with documentation standards and protocols.
Collaboration and Communication:
• Work closely with cross-functional teams to test and validate system functionality.
• Collaborate with designers and engineers to provide feedback on design improvements.
• Communicate effectively with team members and management on project status and issues.
• Participate in meetings and discussions to provide expertise on system reliability.
• Act as a liaison between different departments to ensure smooth and efficient testing processes.

Qualifications:
• A bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field with at least 2 years experience or equivalent work experience that provides exposure to fundamental theories, principles, and concepts.
• Deep expertise in a specific area of system testing or reliability engineering.
• Certifications in quality assurance, testing, or reliability.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to develop innovative testing solutions.
• A solid understanding of engineering concepts, practices, and procedures relevant to the specialist’s field.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with team members and stakeholders.
- Experience in 2D and 3D CAD and part design and documentation preferred. Autodesk inventor or SolidWorks software is a strong plus
- Safety-first mindset, ability to follow all safety rules and wear all required safety equipment (PPE)
- Knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems is a strong plus
Salary range:
$91,500.00 - $164,500.00
