- A Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, or equivalent experience, is required.

- Design low-speed I/O channels such as clock circuits, DDR/memories, and other sensitive signals.
- Design layout guidelines for packages and PCBs for switches, adapters, and electro-optical modules.
- Perform package, board, and system SI/PI design activities, including PCB stack-up and material selection, design-guide implementation, layout review, and post-layout analysis.
- Collaborate with Architecture, ASIC, Mixed Signal, Package, and PCB design teams to design systems and ensure SI/PI performance meets expectations.
- Simulate passive and active elements using 3D and 2D simulation tools.
- Measure systems in the laboratory using a network analyzer, TDR, and oscilloscope.
- A Master of Science or Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering is preferred.
- Expertise with time-domain co-simulation of I/O circuits and PDN models is preferred.
- Familiarity with NRZ/PAM-4 signaling schemes is preferred.
- Experience with MATLAB, Python, and C is preferred.

-2%Nvidia shares fell 0.3% to $225.67 at 10:29 ET on October 13, after Reuters reported that French cloud provider Scaleway plans to deploy Nvidia's Blackwell chips in its Copenhagen expansion. Scaleway chose the HGX B300, which holds eight Blackwell GPUs per baseboard. Each GPU carries 288GB of memory, or 2.304TB per baseboard. The order value and number of systems were not disclosed, so the project's effect on Nvidia's sales is unclear. Investors are waiting for installation volumes, launch dates, and follow-up orders. Nvidia has a GF Score of 95 out of 100, but its valuation remains the main pressure point.
Nvidia will present at SEMICON West on October 13 in San Francisco, as it pushes deeper into chip design and manufacturing. Tim Costa, vice president and general manager of Industrial and Computational Engineering, will give the CEO Summit keynote, "The Next Generation of Chips Starts With AI." Nvidia plans to show how its GPUs, CUDA software, Omniverse digital twins, and robotics can become part of chip production, not just supply computing hardware. The event runs October 13 to 15 at the Moscone Center. The company, valued at about $5.5 trillion, reported second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue of $96.2 billion, up 105.9% year over year and above the $92.17 billion analysts expected. Data Center revenue rose 117% to $89 billion. Adjusted earnings per share were $2.22.
Ray Dalio says the AI boom looks like a "classic bubble," yet Bridgewater Associates holds Nvidia as its largest individual stock and third-largest position overall. One investor says the holdings matter more than the warning, and keeps buying. Nvidia's second-quarter fiscal 2027 revenue rose 105.8% to $96.22 billion. Data Center revenue hit $89.02 billion, up 117%, and third-quarter guidance is $108.0 billion. Management expects revenue to grow about 70% in fiscal 2028, limited by supply. Net margin is 55.60%, and the company returned $26.0 billion to shareholders last quarter. Risks include $279 billion in supply commitments and China's absence from guidance. The stock fell 5.27% last week.
Nvidia will buy a minority stake in French healthcare booking platform Doctolib. Doctolib did not specify the size or value of the stake. It said Nvidia's presence would help it develop artificial intelligence tools.
Nvidia, ranked second on Insider Monkey's list of Claude AI's best-performing stock picks this year, may have room to keep growing. Its revenue rose 83.38% year over year, and it trades at 24.6 times forward earnings, below its five-year average of 42.1. Nvidia expects its Vera Rubin platform to make up roughly 20% of data centre revenue in the fiscal third quarter. Chief executive officer Jensen Huang puts the central processor market opened by its Vera chip at $200 billion, and says Vera could bring $20 billion in sales this fiscal year. Nvidia is also helping customers fund data centres, including a guarantee of up to $105 billion for an Ohio campus built for an OpenAI affiliate. That adds lender-style risk, and rivals such as AMD are gaining ground.
