Requirements
  • Current Nursing Assistant Certification.

  • Develop work skills through available resources, including in-services, formal educational programs, other work groups, and on-the-job training.
  • Attend and participate in staff meetings and in-services, or review required documentation.
  • Perform analytical and decision-making functions with minimal supervision, and seek assistance or consultation when appropriate.
  • Understand hospital and departmental policies and procedures, including safety issues, and know the hospital's programs and services and where they are located.
Responsibilities
  • Assist patients with activities of daily living and provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients under the direction and supervision of the Registered Nurse in charge of the team or unit.
  • Assist in maintaining a safe and clean environment for patients and staff.
  • Communicate treatment results, observations, patient complaints, and other pertinent information about patient condition to the Registered Nurse.
  • Provide care appropriate to the ages of patients served, including infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Accurately perform and report patient care data according to hospital policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide patient care.
  • Adapt to changes in workload or patient assignments.
  • Perform accurately and precisely in crisis and emergency situations when time is essential.
  • Perform Observation Assistant functions when needed.
  • Complete work assignments within an acceptable time frame and use time and resources effectively.
  • Maintain efficient working relationships, reliable attendance, and punctuality; partner with others to achieve positive outcomes.
  • Contribute to quality services, offer solutions to issues or concerns, produce quality results, continually improve work quality, and take responsibility for work performed, including corrective action when needed.
  • Assist in orienting others and participate in mentoring.

(“TriSalus” or the “company”), an oncology company in the process of going public through a business combination transaction (the “Business Combination”) with MedTech Acquisition Corporation (Nasdaq: MTAC) (“MedTech” or “MTAC”), today announced that it has expanded the reach of its ongoing Pressure-Enabled Regional Immuno-Oncology™ (“PERIO™-01” and “PERIO™-02”) clinical program.In recent months TriSalus has opened five new PERIO™-01 (NCT04935229) clinical trial sites, at Stanford University Hospitals, University of California Los Angeles, University of Colorado’s Anschutz Medical Campus, University of Washington Medical Center and University of Miami’s Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center, in addition to five previously activated sites.
