- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- One or more years of experience as an Activity Assistant is preferred.
- Experience in long-term care and memory care is preferred.
- Musical or artistic abilities are a plus but are not required.
- Must be able to work every other weekend and participate in every other holiday rotation.
- Assist the Director of Life Enrichment by leading small, medium, and large resident group activities.
- Prepare rooms, equipment, and supplies before each program and clean up afterward.
- Conduct one-to-one programs with low-functioning residents.
- Clean and care for bird aviaries on Tuesdays and Saturdays or as instructed by the Life Enrichment Director.
- Keep supplies and equipment neat, organized, and returned to the appropriate place.
- Assist with feeding residents during meal times as needed.
- One or more years of experience as an Activity Assistant.
- Experience in long-term care and memory care.
- Musical or artistic abilities.
