Requirements
  • At least three years of experience in the position offered or a related Programmer Analyst/Developer position.
  • Consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • A bachelor's degree and at least three years of work experience in accounting, budget execution, information technology, financial system requirements and analysis, financial planning and reporting, auditing, and internal financial controls.
  • Experience working on the full life cycle of a software development project.
  • Experience developing test strategies for all testing activities.
  • Experience developing checklists, standards, and other relevant quality assurance documentation.
  • Experience developing high-level and detailed testing schedules for system and formal testing.
  • Experience writing and executing test cases and automated test scripts based on use cases or stories.
  • Experience reporting, tracking, and closing out defects.
  • Experience coordinating testing in a distributed environment.
  • Experience validating application performance.
  • Ability to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office products and related tools and technology required for the position.
  • U.S. citizenship.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Work products must be thorough, accurate, appropriately documented, and compliant with established criteria.
  • Ability to perform duties in a competent and professional manner while meeting milestones and delivery schedules.
Responsibilities
  • Perform analysis and quality assurance services for solution development efforts.
  • Produce test plans and test cases for multiple individual projects.
  • Track and report quantitative and qualitative aspects of error reporting.
  • Design and implement system, user acceptance testing, and production-level environments, including hardware and networks.
  • Perform manual and automated testing in system, user acceptance testing, and production-level environments.
  • Communicate with analysts, developers, and users to gain functional and technical knowledge.
  • Work through all phases of the testing cycle, including unit, functional, system, performance, and acceptance testing.
  • Support program requirements and quality assurance activities for the client engagement.
Desired Qualifications
  • A Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in Computer Science.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio.
  • Ability to quickly learn other business tools and technologies as necessary.
