Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in a relevant field or related subject is required.
  • At least 3 years of experience providing survey research, sampling, descriptive and inferential statistical analysis is required.
  • Experience in data collection, analysis, and written reports summarizing collected data is required.
  • The candidate must have consecutive employment in a position with comparable responsibilities within the past five years.
  • The candidate must be able to use a computer to communicate via email.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel, and Publisher, is required.
  • The candidate must have English verbal and written communication skills, including editing and research skills.
  • The candidate must demonstrate knowledge management expertise.
  • The candidate must demonstrate the ability to propose resolutions to complex managerial or operational problems.
  • The candidate must demonstrate advanced data analytics skills, including time-series regressions and applying appropriate statistical models to job tasks.
  • The candidate must be able to coordinate multiple projects simultaneously, work under pressure, meet deadlines, and manage multiple priorities.
  • The candidate must be able to work effectively individually and as part of a team.
  • The candidate must have attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management skills.
  • The candidate must be proficient with Adobe and related technology tools.
  • U.S. citizenship is required.
Responsibilities
  • Conduct in-depth research using statistical analysis, models, tables, and other methods to understand consumer financial decision-making.
  • Support field tests of newly developed tools and strategies for educating consumers.
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring and research throughout the development and implementation of consumer education tools, strategies, and messages.
  • Provide analysis of the overall project to support the Research Team's reports.
  • Conduct research on consumer behavior, knowledge, attitudes, and experiences.
  • Use focus groups, surveys, and interviews to research consumer financial behavior and financial education.
  • Compile research findings into comprehensive reports for delivery to other Research Team members.
Desired Qualifications
  • A master's degree in a relevant field or related subject is preferred.
  • Advanced proficiency with Excel, Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word is preferred.
  • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat, data analytic tools, and Visio is preferred.
