Requirements
  • A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in an engineering discipline is required; an additional four years of experience may substitute for the degree.
  • At least four years of cybersecurity or Risk Management Framework experience is required.
  • Experience with Department of Defense Risk Management Framework and National Institute of Standards and Technology Special Publication 800-53 is required.
  • Experience with Security Technical Implementation Guides and vulnerability assessments is required.
  • Experience with Plan of Action and Milestones and security evidence is required.
  • Ability to work effectively with software developers, DevSecOps engineers, and system administrators is required.
  • U.S. citizenship and eligibility for a Secret security clearance are required.
Responsibilities
  • Support Risk Management Framework and continuous-monitoring activities.
  • Perform and analyze ACAS, STIG, SCAP, and application-security assessments.
  • Analyze vulnerabilities and security findings.
  • Maintain Plan of Action and Milestones and eMASS evidence.
  • Work directly with developers and technical teams to remediate findings.
  • Validate remediation and finding closure.
  • Support System Security Plan and control evidence and assessment readiness.
  • Support release-security reviews.
  • Integrate security findings into Agile and DevSecOps workflows.
  • Support Authority to Operate sustainment and cybersecurity taskings.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with the Defense Information Systems Agency.
  • Experience with eMASS.
  • Experience with ACAS and SCAP.
  • Experience with Fortify, SAST/DAST, or other application-security tools.
  • Experience in a Java or software-development environment.
  • Kubernetes, container, or classified-cloud familiarity.
