Responsibilities
  • Review and approval of documents prior to use, including managing the Document Change Request process (ensuring accuracy of document content, revision levels are accurate, and documents are available at each point of use)
  • Document Control Clerk: review paper documents for accuracy, scan them into our system, link them to the appropriate customer order, and store them securely. You'll insure compliance for our quality management system with document creation, revision and obsoleting and route those items for electronic approval and signature using Adobe Sign. You'll exercise your written communication skills with MS Word for document creation and formatting
  • Understand ISO 13485 and the FDA 21 CFR Part 820 and how they drive our document system
  • Reviews QMS records for accuracy and exercises good documentation practices; including compliance to ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR Part 820, as well as internal procedures
  • Scans records and audits the file location and legibility of scanned QMS records, and links files to Global Shop (ERP System)
  • Conducts a complete review of shipping documentation prior to shipment release to the customer
  • Reviews and routes QMS documentation for approval prior to issue
  • Maintains the accuracy of documents at points of use, specifically verifying the most recent version is displayed
  • Prevents the unintended use of obsolete documents, and applies suitable identification to them if they are retained for any purpose

A new chapter for TBS Engineering. Rosendahl Nextrom has acquired TBS Engineering from the Marmon Group to strategically further expanding its battery business. Gloucester, UK - Rosendahl Nextrom, based in Eastern Styria, Austria, has signed the largest acquisition in its history by acquiring the British company TBS Engineering (part of the Marmon Group). Through its BM-Rosendahl brand, the company has already established a strong presence in the global battery market. This acquisition elevates it to the global market leader for battery manufacturing solutions and reinforces its technological leadership in a high-growth international market. "The acquisition of TBS marks a significant strategic step and underscores our clear commitment to the battery sector," says Gerhard Jakopic, CEO of Rosendahl Nextrom. "It brings together two highly complementary companies with strong international relevance in their respective markets." For Rosendahl Nextrom, a global technology partner to the cable, wire, fiber optic, and battery industries, this represents the second major acquisition within a short period. In February 2026, the company acquired the Tallinn-based Windak Group, thereby strategically expanding its cable and wire division. With this latest acquisition, the company's global workforce now exceeds 1,000 employees. Koch acquires Store Opening Solutions. Tennessee-Based SOS boosts Koch Logistics' warehousing footprint. Koch Cos.' last acquisition was Logistics Edge in 2021. (Koch Cos.) Murfreesboro, Tenn.-based Store Opening Solutions specializes in retail fixture, furniture and equipment inventory. The company has 97 employees. Store Opening Solutions will become part of Minneapolis-based Koch Cos.' Koch Logistics division. Koch Logistics will now operate more than 3 million square feet of warehousing and storage space following the deal, with facilities in Chicago; Corona, Calif.; and Murfreesboro. Acquiring Store Opening Solutions is set to double the company's warehousing space. SOS's strong client base in the retail industry also contributed to the decision to acquire the company, Koch Cos. said. "Bringing SOS into the Koch Companies family represents a meaningful step in our long-term strategy to strengthen and expand our logistics, fulfillment and trucking capabilities," said Jeff Koch, the parent company's chief operating officer. Koch "By investing in the people, infrastructure and services that define both SOS and Koch, we're positioning the business and our customers for long-term success," he added. Third-generation trucking company Koch has built and maintained an operational team on-site in Murfreesboro since 1999. "Koch Logistics has a 25-year history working alongside SOS, and we are extremely excited about what the future holds as we blend the best of both companies," said Darren Nelson, vice president and general manager of Koch Logistics and Warehousing. "Bringing both entities under the same umbrella, having a shared vision and strategy, will allow us to create synergies and value-added solutions for our clients." The parent company said more acquisitions could be on the slate, particularly in the warehousing and fulfillment arena. Koch Cos.' last acquisition was Logistics Edge in 2021. The company - which is celebrating its 50th year in business in 2026 - has five divisions: Koch Trucking, Koch NationaLease, United Trailer Leasing, Koch Logistics and Koch Maritime. Koch Trucking operates more than 900 trucks and 2,000 trailers. The division specializes in dry van truckload, dedicated, flatbed and drayage operations. The company's tractors are all three years old or newer. Volvo Trucks North America landed an order from Koch Trucking for 185 Volvo VNL 860s in December. The VNL received an overhaul in January 2024. "Maintaining one of the newest fleets in the industry allows us to maximize uptime and deliver consistent, reliable service our customers expect," Jeff Koch said in December. United Trailer Leasing operates more than 3,000 pieces of rolling stock. Ocean freight forwarder Koch Maritime is part of Koch Logistics and provides end-to-end international and ocean/air shipping services. Marmon Holdings is also the parent company of Fontaine Fifth Wheel, Fontaine Modification, Fontaine Trailer, Sisu Axles, Stahl Truck Bodies, Triangle Suspension Systems and TSE Brakes.
