  • Alabama hourly full-time lead technicians get retirement support: their listed benefits include a matching 401(k) plan and cell-phone stipend.
  • Scion brings large property portfolios: the client cites 80,000 residents in its endorsement of nationwide restoration support.
  • Pittsburgh coverage is expanding: an October 2026 employer report says restorer DRS joined the group, retaining its existing crews.

What critics are saying

  • Alabama lead technicians face disrupted schedules: this full-time, hourly role requires emergency on-call availability and travel between job sites.
  • National crews face sudden deployments: specialized disaster teams mobilize anywhere in the country immediately after major property losses.
  • Environmental crews handle contaminated sites: cleanup includes blood-borne pathogens and hazardous waste, requiring protective equipment, containment, and ventilation.
