Requirements
- A Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science or a similar field, or equivalent experience.
- At least 5 years of experience with Java.
- At least 5 years of experience working in a Java Enterprise Edition environment.
- Experience with MySQL and a complete understanding of it.
- Significant experience and in-depth knowledge of the Spring framework.
- Significant experience and in-depth knowledge of Hibernate and object-relational mapping.
- Significant experience and in-depth knowledge of web services and service-oriented architecture.
- Significant experience with object-oriented design and development.
Responsibilities
- Build high-performance, high-availability applications.
- Develop creative solutions to difficult problems.
- Work directly with developers and product managers to conceptualize, build, test, and realize products.
- Provide technical expertise to implement and deliver various web and other system projects.
- Gather and analyze requirements and design and develop projects.
- Organize and participate in review sessions and contribute design insights for projects.
- Develop high-quality projects within challenging timeframes and assist other team members.
Desired Qualifications
- Leadership experience.
- Experience with Jetty or Tomcat.
- Knowledge of NoSQL.
- Previous work experience involving Axis2, Eclipse, JUnit, Maven, Subversion, and the Scrum process.
- E-commerce development experience.
- Background in the automotive industry, preferably involving ACES and PIES standards.
