Responsibilities
  • Design and develop mechanical systems for nanosatellites and small satellites.
  • Create technical documentation, including 3D models, 2D drawings, and product specifications.
  • Execute projects from early design through first prototype production, testing, assembly, and prototype-set analysis while meeting deadlines.
  • Create instructions, manuals, magazine articles, research articles, and other supporting documents to communicate technical information related to the activity and assigned tasks.
  • Engage customers in technical conversations on a daily basis.

The signing ceremony took place at the Elysee Palace on Wednesday in the presence of French President Emmanuel Macron and Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev, as part of the International Space Summit currently being held in the French capital. The two companies intend to combine EnduroSat's capacity to build satellites at scale with the capabilities offered by Europe's largest launch vehicle, EnduroSat said in a Facebook post. The Bulgarian company plans to use Arianespace's Ariane 64 launch services starting in 2029. "Our shared goal is a competitive space ecosystem and strategic autonomy," EnduroSat said in its statement. EnduroSat opened an office in the French city of Toulouse in March 2025.

The project, called LLARS (Low Luminance Resilience from Space), is being developed under the first phase of ESA's European Resilience from Space for Earth Observation (ERS-EO) programme. It will serve as an in-orbit demonstration and validation mission for the programme's Earth observation component. According to the company, LLARS is intended to contribute to the EU's planned European Earth Observation Governmental Service (EOGS) and support Europe's push for more secure and independent access to Earth observation data. Sofia, Bulgaria - 6 August 2026 - EnduroSat, a global space infrastructure builder, and the Government of the Republic of Bulgaria have signed a memorandum of understanding to turn the former military airbase Dobroslavtsi into Europe's newest space and defense R&D center. For constellation operators, governments, and defense forces, the site enables serial production and streamlined logistics for large and complex space fleets. Rarely do you get the chance to chase a truly big vision. For the past decade, the EnduroSat team has built an incredible track record: proving doubters wrong and pushing through every human and technical challenge in its way, all to make space more accessible.
