About the Job

Requirements

Qualifications in Civil Engineering, Construction Economics, or Transportation.
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, AutoCAD, and software related to quantity surveying services such as CostX and building information modeling.
Experience working on projects across multiple industry sectors, particularly public sector, mixed development, industrial, semiconductor, life science/pharma, data center, high-tech, and infrastructure projects.
Four to ten years of experience in cost management.
Excellent verbal and written communication in English.
Teamwork, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Manage total project costs to deliver positive outcomes for clients.
Deliver the full range of quantity surveying services from the design stage through project closeout.
Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with reasonable supervision and guidance.
Perform quantity measurement, cost planning, preparation of bills of quantities, and value engineering.
Manage procurement processes, including pre-qualification, tender documentation, PTE, tender assessment, and contract documentation.
Monitor and verify variations, claims, payments, and final accounts, and attend project meetings.
Produce monthly cost reports.
Conduct cost studies and market surveys for commercial aspects.
Work with contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers in Vietnam's construction market.
Provide accurate and timely work outputs.
Proactively interface with clients and other consultants at all project stages.

Job Description

Responsible for total cost management of projects delivering positive outcomes for our clients
Able to deliver full range of QS services from design stage to close out of projects
Carry out cost management and contract administration duties with reasonable supervision and guidance
Quantity measurement, Cost planning, bill of quantities, VE (value engineering)
Procurement process from pre-qualification, tender document, PTE, tender assessment, contract document
To monitor and verifying VO, Claims, Payment, Final Account and attending project meetings.
Produce monthly cost report
Cost studies, market survey for commercial aspects
Familiar with contractors/subcontractors/suppliers from construction industries in Vietnam market
To provide all work outputs in an accurate and timely manner
Pro-actively interface with clients and other consultants, at all project stages

Qualifications

Qualifications in Civil Engineering/Construction Economics/Transportation

Experience working on a range of projects across industry sectors particularly in public sector, mixed development, industrial, semiconductor, lifescience/pharma, data center, hi tech, infrastructure etc
4– 10 years experience in Cost Management
Excellent verbal and written communication in English
Team player with excellent leadership and problem-solving skills
