Requirements
  • BSEE with minimum 5 years of experience working Product / Test in Analog, Mixed Signal, Digital space.
  • Experience working with Automated Test Equipment platforms.
  • Proficiency in multiple ATE software coding languages including but not limited to C/C++, Python, Java.
  • Knowledge of ATE platform architecture and programming languages to develop low level automation code for Analog / Mixed Signal test blocks.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills, able to work with cross-functional teams across multiple internal development and factory sites.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills – energetic, motivated, and self-driven.
  • Demonstrate ability to work well within a global team environment with minimal supervision.
  • Strong organizational skills; ability to manage multiple tasks.
  • Must be able to update / modify existing code with innovation and improvisation focused on efficiency and test-cost reduction.
Responsibilities
  • Own and drive new product development across various businesses and product lines within the business unit.
  • Drive best-in-class Design for Test strategies (Analog / Digital Built-In Self-Test solutions) for benchmark cost-of-test.
  • Own pre-silicon activities such as Automated Test Equipment test plan generation, hardware design, and test program development.
  • Own post-silicon bring-up, validation, characterization, and qualification activities, fostering execution to fastest time-to-market.
  • Own entitlement goals for product execution, overall product cost (yields, test-times, multi-sites), and product quality.
  • Define, own, and impact continuous upkeep and maintenance of test program generation utilities and standard test method libraries.
  • Maintain and innovate test automation codebase to improve efficiency and reduce test cost.
  • Act as an interface between Automated Test Equipment vendor, business unit process engineering, and design team to define test automation requirements and checklists.
  • Good understanding of Automated Test Equipment system architecture (ETS800, T2K, IFlex, etc.) and ability to work with vendors to develop low level automation code.
  • Demonstrate good IC test knowledge across digital, analog, RF, and mixed-signal tests and knowledge of test methods and test instrumentation requirements for various Analog, Mixed-Signal, and Digital tests.
  • Having additional experience and knowledge of high-speed interfaces (PCIe, Serdes, LPDDR, CSI/DSI, etc.) is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of high-voltage (>1kV) test requirements and care-abouts is a must.
  • Prior hands-on experience across Design for Test, Automated Test Equipment for IC testing, and good understanding of Automated Test Equipment system architectures is required.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with high-speed interfaces such as PCI Express, Serdes, LPDDR, and Camera Serial Interface / Display Serial Interface is considered a plus.
  • Experience with Automotive or Industrial market applications is considered a plus.

Factory utilisation rose to 83% from 77%, with each percentage point adding 25–30 basis points to gross margin. Lead times extended to 32 weeks from 27 weeks, and book-to-bill remained significantly above 1.

Onsemi to report earnings Monday with expected 8.2% revenue growth

Onsemi will report earnings on Monday after the bell. The analog chipmaker beat revenue expectations last quarter with $1.51 billion, up 4.7% year on year. Analysts expect this quarter's revenue to grow 8.2% year on year, reversing the 15.4% decrease from the same quarter last year. Analysts have largely reconfirmed their estimates over the past 30 days. Peers have shown mixed results. Monolithic Power Systems reported 47.6% revenue growth, beating expectations by 8.6%, whilst Impinj's revenues rose 10.7%, topping estimates by 3.5%. Onsemi shares are down 14.2% over the past month, trading at $81.34 against an average analyst price target of $113.12.
