Responsibilities
  • Transforming customer requirements into innovative mechanical designs
  • Taking concepts and transforming them into 3D part models and assemblies
  • Verifying designs in the intended application through analysis and testing
  • Assessing designs for safety, manufacturability, cost-effectiveness, and durability
  • Creating and managing comprehensive product documentation, including drawings and test plans
  • Creating assembly instructions
  • Integrating mechanical and electromechanical designs into the engineering system
  • Performing FEA, fatigue, bolt joins and vibration analysis
  • Maintaining fluid communication with suppliers and customers about design changes
  • Leading design review presentations involving diverse stakeholders
  • Evaluating supplier designs for cost-efficiency and effective manufacturing processes
