- Two years of experience in a similar position.
- A DEP, AEC, or DEC in water treatment or an equivalent education.
- Experience with maintenance of pumping and water-treatment equipment is an asset.
- Analytical and observational ability.
- Autonomy and resourcefulness.
- Inspect equipment routinely and ensure proper process operation.
- Perform prescribed preventive maintenance according to equipment manufacturers and handle corrective work.
- Perform various basic mechanical repair and maintenance tasks.
- Commission new equipment.
- Use preventive-maintenance software.
- Report anomalies or defects found in devices and equipment.
- Program daily work according to priorities, urgencies, and material and equipment availability.
