  • Expert-level C#/.NET, including ASP.NET Core, REST API design, and microservices patterns.
  • Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills with production React experience.
  • Strong Azure and Kubernetes (AKS) experience, including containers, deployment patterns, and continuous integration and continuous delivery with Azure DevOps.
  • Strong relational database skills, including schema design, query performance tuning, transactional correctness on online transaction processing workloads, and SQL fluency for analytical endpoints in the Microsoft Fabric estate.
  • Distributed-systems fundamentals, including API design, idempotency, failure modes, and data consistency across service boundaries.
  • Ability to raise a team’s engineering bar through code review, testing discipline, and clear written technical design.
  • Enthusiasm for AI-assisted and AI-native development.
  • Willingness to submit to a background investigation and drug test as part of the selection process.
Responsibilities
  • Lead implementation across multiple concurrent projects by translating architecture into technical plans, code-level designs, and shipped software.
  • Design and ship production C#/.NET services and REST APIs serving high-volume payment data under PCI DSS constraints.
  • Build and evolve client-facing web applications in React and TypeScript, from component architecture through API integration.
  • Contribute hands-on to a LangGraph-based agentic application, including agent orchestration, tool integration, testing, evaluations, and observability.
  • Own engineering standards across teams, including code review culture, automated unit, integration, and end-to-end testing, and continuous integration and continuous delivery practices in Azure DevOps.
  • Deploy and operate services on AKS across Azure and dual on-premises datacenters, partnering with DevOps on infrastructure and release engineering.
  • Mentor engineers through code review, pairing, and design collaboration.

  • Participate in design reviews and architecture decision record discussions with the architecture team.
  • Guide data platform work at the integration boundaries between application workstreams and the Microsoft Fabric data estate.
Desired Qualifications
  • Hands-on experience building LLM-powered or agentic applications, including LangGraph/LangChain, retrieval-augmented generation pipelines, agent orchestration, vector search, LLM evaluation, or MCP-based tool integration.
  • Python proficiency.
  • Payments or financial services domain background and PCI-scoped system experience.
  • Messaging and eventing patterns using Azure Service Bus, Event Hubs, or Kafka.
  • Observability practice using OpenTelemetry, Application Insights, Grafana, or Prometheus.

Aperia develops automatic tire inflation technology for commercial fleets. Its Halo Tire Inflator is a bolt-on, self-powered device per wheel that uses wheel rotation to keep tires at optimal pressure without an onboard air connection, with installation taking about 5–10 minutes per wheel. Halo Connect i3 adds smart sensors and two-way communication to monitor tire health, provide predictive analytics, and remotely adjust pressure based on load, temperature, or tire model. The system helps fleets save fuel, extend tire life, and improve safety, and its technology has been adopted by major operators and Ryder as a standard specification.

What believers are saying

  • March 2026 Fontaine integration expands Halo Connect into coupling-status data for fleets.
  • MVTS testing in January 2026 validated Halo fuel savings, reinforcing ROI claims.
  • Halo Connect i3 won HDT Top 20 Products in 2025, strengthening sales leverage.

What critics are saying

  • Steer-tire launch stayed in final validation in March 2026; execution slips threaten credibility.
  • Aperia’s 2026 hiring cooled; active postings fell 20.7%, signaling slower expansion.
  • Goodyear can pressure pricing and volume, making Aperia dependent on one giant partner.

What makes Aperia unique

  • Halo covers drive, trailer, medium-duty, and now steer tires as of March 2026.
  • Goodyear’s March 2025 exclusive TaaS deal embeds Halo Connect i3 into tire subscriptions.
  • Aperia pairs automatic inflation with predictive analytics and remote setpoint changes in one platform.
