Trail Maintenance Attendant
About the job
- A valid Class 5 driver's licence is required.
- Good physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors are required.
- The ability to support an occasional basic conversation with multilingual customers is an asset.
- Employees must pass a security investigation to occupy this position.
- Perform trail maintenance, including brush clearing, branch cutting, invasive vegetation management, and maintenance of safe corridors, according to established procedures.
- Carry out general maintenance work, including minor infrastructure repairs, cleaning, and debris management.
- Help secure routes for users and respond according to field priorities.
- Provide safe support to arborists during felling operations.
- A valid Class 3 driver's licence is an asset.
- Training and/or experience using powered tools, with chainsaw experience an asset, is preferred.
- Experience in a forest environment and/or manual work is an asset.
- Reliability, autonomy, and attention to detail are preferred.
