Requirements
  • A minimum of 12 years of professional experience, including substantial Life Sciences consulting, commercial operations, CRM, technology, or digital transformation experience.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience leading enterprise commercial or CRM transformation programs for pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or medical device organizations.
  • A minimum of 8 years of experience delivering Salesforce and/or Veeva solutions, with strong knowledge of Veeva CRM, Vault CRM, Salesforce LSC, and the broader Life Sciences commercial technology ecosystem.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience independently originating opportunities and leading complex sales cycles, strategic proposals, and RFPs end to end, including solution shaping, pricing, commercial negotiation, and close.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience building senior executive relationships and translating client priorities into measurable business outcomes.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience developing differentiated solutions that combine business transformation, emerging technology, data, artificial intelligence, automation, and new service models to expand client value beyond traditional systems integration and application managed services.
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience leading large, multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams and developing senior talent through coaching, performance management, retention, and succession planning.

Responsibilities
  • Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior commercial, sales, marketing, medical, data, and technology leaders; lead executive workshops; define transformation strategies and roadmaps; and create new buying centers across pharmaceutical, biotechnology, and medical device organizations.
  • Identify client needs, build qualified pipeline, shape differentiated value propositions, and lead the full sales cycle from origination and qualification through solutioning, pricing, contracting, negotiation, and close.
  • Own complex proposals and requests for proposals end to end, including win strategy, competitive positioning, commercial models, estimates, staffing, executive presentations, alliance participation, and transition from pursuit to delivery.
  • Define and deliver programs spanning customer engagement, field force effectiveness, omnichannel orchestration, commercial operations, medical engagement, data and analytics, content enablement, and managed services.
  • Direct complex programs from strategy and architecture through implementation, release planning, migration, validation, deployment, adoption, and transition to application managed services, with accountability for scope, quality, risk, schedule, financial performance, and business outcomes.
  • Identify and scale practical artificial intelligence, machine learning, and automation use cases across targeting, next-best action, customer insights, field productivity, release operations, service management, and commercial decision-making.
  • Lead large, multidisciplinary, geographically distributed teams; develop leaders; strengthen succession and retention; set clear accountability; and step into critical delivery issues when needed.
  • Develop offerings, accelerators, reference architectures, and thought leadership; build Salesforce and Veeva alliance relationships; lead joint go-to-market motions; and collaborate across account, industry, capability, technology, data and artificial intelligence, and operations leadership.
Desired Qualifications
  • Deep recent experience with Vault CRM, Vault Platform, Salesforce LSC, and Salesforce solutions supporting Life Sciences commercial organizations.
  • Experience leading Veeva migrations, global CRM deployments, release planning, validation, data migration, integration, adoption, and ongoing platform modernization.
  • Experience running application managed services organizations and improving service quality, automation, productivity, margin, and client satisfaction.
  • Experience with commercial data platforms, healthcare professional and healthcare organization data, targeting and segmentation, next-best action, omnichannel engagement, field analytics, and artificial intelligence-enabled customer insights.
  • Experience establishing or scaling consulting offerings, practices, Centers of Excellence, alliance motions, or technology capability groups.
  • Salesforce, Veeva, cloud, architecture, data, or artificial intelligence certifications relevant to Life Sciences commercial transformation.

Accenture surges 17% on Q4 beat with $18.7B revenue, but analyst warns stock fully priced at 15x forward earnings

Accenture shares surged 17% on Thursday after reporting strong fourth-quarter results. The company posted revenue of $18.7 billion, up 6% year-over-year, while earnings per share jumped 46% to $3.29. Management's full-year revenue growth forecast of 4.5% exceeded analyst expectations of 4%. Net bookings rose 4% to $22.2 billion. The company plans to return at least $9.5 billion to shareholders this financial year. However, TD Cowen analyst Bryan Bergin maintained a hold rating, citing concerns that the stock is fully priced at 15 times forward earnings. He cautioned that one strong quarter may represent a cyclical bounce rather than structural growth acceleration. Despite this, Wall Street remains optimistic, with a "moderate buy" consensus rating. Accenture currently offers a 3.05% dividend yield.

Accenture soars 20% on upbeat fiscal 2027 forecast, lifting IBM and Cognizant

Accenture shares surged 20% Thursday after the company reported better-than-expected fourth-quarter results and issued its fiscal 2027 outlook. Quarterly revenue rose 6% year-over-year to $18.7 billion, whilst GAAP diluted earnings increased 46% to $3.29 per share. New bookings reached $22.2 billion. For fiscal 2027, Accenture projects revenue growth of 3% to 6% in local currency, exceeding the 3.9% analyst consensus. The company expects GAAP diluted earnings of $14.39 to $14.81 per share and an operating margin of 15.9% to 16.1%. The positive forecast boosted competitors' shares. Cognizant Technology Solutions climbed 10%, Infosys gained 8%, and IBM rose 5% in morning trading. Accenture generated $2.8 billion in free cash flow during the quarter and returned $11.5 billion to shareholders in fiscal 2026.

Accenture partners with AWS to deliver cloud and AI tools for mid-sized companies

Accenture has announced a new collaboration with Amazon Web Services to deliver cloud and AI offerings specifically for mid-sized companies generating between $300 million and $3 billion in annual revenue. The technology bundle, available through AWS Marketplace, includes tools for virtual machine migration, cloud spending optimisation, security strengthening, and AI system risk testing. The offerings fall under Accenture Edge, a dedicated business unit serving mid-market clients. The collaboration also provides conversational AI, virtual agents, and customer service technology. 407 ETR, a Toronto-area electronic toll highway operator, is cited as an early customer. Accenture shares rose 1.6% in premarket trading following the announcement. The stock currently trades around $180, having rebounded more than 50% from June lows but remaining well below its 52-week high of $291.09.

Accenture and Google Cloud have launched Horizon, an open-source software development platform for Android Automotive Operating System, with Volvo Cars as the lead industry partner.
