His time at Barcelona's historic Boadas Cocktails was particularly formative, deepening his appreciation for the stories and craftsmanship behind classic drinks. At MÚZSA, Federico aims to bring those complementary influences together. Drawing on Hungarian ingredients, the architecture of Gresham Palace and the country's artistic heritage, his vision pairs approachable classics with more adventurous creations. His ambition is to build a shared team philosophy that guests will recognise as distinctly MÚZSA. "We are fortunate to work in a place of such extraordinary beauty, and that comes with responsibility," says Federico. "Our drinks, service and entire guest experience should reflect the character of the Palace. I want people to discover something genuinely connected to Budapest." For Federico, the most important ingredient remains hospitality. "First and foremost, I consider myself a host. My goal is for every guest to leave in a better mood than when they arrived. Whether they choose a cocktail, a glass of wine or simply tonic water, they should feel genuinely welcomed and cared for." Passionate about mentorship and collaboration, Federico seeks to strengthen ties with Budapest's bartending community and international peers, sharing ideas and creating opportunities for the next generation of professionals. "Before competition, there must be community," he says. "When one bar achieves something extraordinary, the entire city benefits." Having recently made Budapest his home, Federico finds inspiration in the city's architecture and along the Danube. A quiet spot beneath the Chain Bridge has already become a favourite place to watch the sunset, reminding him of the sea near his hometown of Rome.
