  • Experience supporting one or more corporate processes such as Tax, Treasury, Human Resources, payroll, operating expenses, Financial Reporting or other finance-related areas.
  • A track record of influencing process owners and senior stakeholders without relying on direct authority.
  • The ability to challenge constructively, explain control requirements in plain business language and balance risk mitigation with operational practicality.
  • Experience leading or supporting remediation, process improvement, system implementation or business-transformation initiatives.
  • Evidence of using technology to improve processes or controls, for example through automation, dashboards, data analysis, workflow tools, system configuration or artificial intelligence-enabled solutions.
  • Working knowledge of management review controls, information technology-dependent controls, end-user computing, information produced by the entity, information used by the company and the relationship between business controls and information technology general controls.

Responsibilities
  • Act as the primary risk and controls partner for assigned functions, initially including Tax, Treasury, Human Resources and other corporate processes as the organization develops.
  • Develop a detailed understanding of relevant business processes, systems, financial reporting risks and operational priorities.
  • Lead process risk assessments and maintain risk and control matrices, process narratives, control descriptions and ownership documentation.
  • Partner with process and control owners to design practical controls that address identified risks without creating unnecessary operational complexity.
  • Guide business owners on control execution, evidence requirements and documentation while ensuring accountability remains with the relevant first-line owner.
  • Lead and support SOX walkthroughs, audit-readiness activities, evidence coordination and evaluation of control design and operating effectiveness.
  • Identify control deficiencies, facilitate root-cause analysis and work with stakeholders to develop sustainable remediation plans.
  • Monitor remediation progress and report on control health, risks, overdue actions and emerging issues.
  • Work closely with Financial Reporting, Internal Audit, external auditors and external advisers to align expectations and resolve control-related questions.
  • Represent the business context in audit discussions and translate auditor requirements into clear, proportionate and actionable steps for process owners.
  • Support business transformations, new system implementations, process redesigns, acquisitions and other strategic initiatives from a risk and controls perspective.
  • Identify opportunities to automate controls, reduce manual effort and improve continuous monitoring through data, dashboards, workflows and artificial intelligence-enabled tools.
  • Partner with the Information Technology Controls team where business controls depend on automated controls, system-generated information, end-user computing, information produced by the entity, information used by the company or underlying information technology general controls.
  • Contribute to the continued development of Internal Controls methodology, policies, training and the broader Risk Partner operating model.
Desired Qualifications
  • A professional qualification such as Certified Public Accountant, Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, Dutch Registered Accountant or Registered Controller, Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Information Systems Auditor or an equivalent certification.
  • Experience in a listed, multinational or SOX-regulated company.
  • A combination of Big Four experience and subsequent in-house ownership.
  • Experience with United States Generally Accepted Accounting Principles or International Financial Reporting Standards financial reporting environments.
  • Experience with enterprise resource planning, treasury, human resources information systems, customer relationship management or other enterprise-system implementations.
  • Experience supporting acquisitions, carve-outs, integrations or major control-transformation programs.
  • Hands-on experience applying data analytics, continuous monitoring, automation or artificial intelligence tools to internal controls work.

About the company

Nebius runs an AI cloud for developers, researchers, and enterprises that train models and put them into production. Its AI Cloud combines GPU computing, storage, networking, and managed services, while Token Factory runs models through an API so teams do not manage the underlying servers. Customers rent computing and storage at usage rates or reserve capacity, choosing resources that fit short experiments or sustained production workloads. Beyond the cloud, the group owns Avride, which develops autonomous vehicles and delivery robots, and TripleTen, which teaches technical skills for people changing careers. The publicly listed group is headquartered in Amsterdam, Netherlands.

Nebius launches public live GPU spot pricing and adds $10M in grants for Europe's AI builders

Nebius (Nasdaq: NBIS), the AI cloud company, has launched public live spot pricing for GPU compute, giving teams more visibility and control over costs. Prices are available at nebius.com/spot-prices and on Shadeform, Silicon Data, and GPU Finder. The company is also offering reserve auctions for short-term capacity blocks and pay-as-you-go access. It is piloting a rebate programme that lets customers return idle GPUs to the spot pool. Nebius runs capacity in Finland, France, the UK, Spain, Estonia, and Iceland. Customers include Black Forest Labs, Photoroom, Prosus, and bunq. The Nebius AI Builder Program is expanding across Europe with an additional $10 million in compute grants.

Nebius says AI computing prices are rising faster than expected as investors question neocloud model

Nebius is seeing AI computing prices rise faster than expected, chief revenue officer Marc Boroditsky told CNBC on Wednesday. The view comes as investors question the neocloud business model after CoreWeave's borrowing costs spiked. Boroditsky said Nebius does not carry CoreWeave's level of debt. An auction for computing capacity on Tuesday showed continued rises in price per megawatt, he said, and 2027 capacity would sell out if brought online. Crusoe chief executive officer Chase Lochmiller also reported higher prices for older Nvidia chips than when they were first deployed. Nebius shares rose after SpaceX said revenue at its AI business jumped ninefold to $7.56 billion.

Musk calls AI capacity glut talk "ridiculous", lifting CoreWeave and Nebius after SpaceX's $14.58B quarter

Elon Musk lifted neocloud stocks a week after hurting them, saying talk of excess AI infrastructure capacity is "ridiculous." He spoke on SpaceX's earnings call late Tuesday. "I do not think we are going to have a demand issue here," Musk said. He added that a six-month payback period for compute next year is not impossible. Last week, Musk replied "Yikes" on X to a post about rising yields on CoreWeave's bonds, which helped fuel a sell-off in CoreWeave and Nebius shares. In pre-market trading Wednesday, CoreWeave and Nebius each gained 2%, and IREN rose 3%. SpaceX's third-quarter revenue was $14.58 billion, up 161% year over year and above analyst estimates of $12.7 billion. Earnings per share were $0.35, $0.20 ahead of forecasts.

Nebius strikes deals with early-stage UK AI labs after $2.2B build-out

Nebius, the European AI infrastructure company, says it has struck compute deals with several early-stage UK AI labs. It is looking to expand its UK compute and infrastructure offering. General manager for EMEA Gary Tierney said the labs are in stealth or have just left it, but did not name them. "We are working with some really exciting AI labs that are coming out of the UK," he said. Earlier this year, the Amsterdam-headquartered company announced a £1.7bn UK build-out across new sites. It already has four UK data centre sites, plus others in Finland and France. Tierney also welcomed UK plans to ease non-compete clauses. He said removing them could bring "a lot more labs, a lot more frontier builders" to the UK.

Nebius stock could turn $1,000 into $9,000 by 2030 as AI cloud revenue surges

Nebius, a Netherlands-based AI infrastructure company, has seen its stock surge from $14.29 at its October 2024 debut to around $220 currently, after peaking at $286.69 in June 2026. The company, formerly known as Yandex, transformed into a "neocloud" provider after divesting its Russian assets following 2022 sanctions. Nebius operates AI-focused data centers across Finland, Iceland, and the US, with 14 more planned. Revenue jumped 351% to $530 million in 2025, whilst first-half 2026 revenue soared 529% year-over-year to $981 million. The company's contracted backlog exceeded $40 billion by mid-2026. Analysts project 2027 revenue of $12.3 billion and adjusted EBITDA of $6.6 billion. Trading at 8 times forward sales, the stock appears undervalued despite concerns about profitability and rising debt from its capital-intensive expansion strategy.
