Anduril designs and builds aircraft, aircraft systems, and aerospace structures for the Defense, Space, and other aerospace-related industries. The Metrology Technician will be responsible for assisting the Metrology Manager in the laser scanning and laser tracking of foam masters, carbon tools and related jigs and parts in a fast moving carbon fiber prototype and production facility.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
- High School graduate or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Metrology training in a technical school or equivalent
- Familiarity with carbon fiber assembly process is a plus
- Experience collaborating cross functionally
- Polished communication and presentation skills
- A bias towards action
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Ability to work at a fast pace, medium to heavy duty assembly, technical environment
- Must be able to squat, sit or stand for extended periods of time.
- Fit enough to deal with regular stair climbing, frequent bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, turning, and standing for extended periods
- Capable of lifting at least 40 pounds and withstand frequent repetitive movement of hands with a variety of tooling
The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only.
