Construction Project Manager
About the job
- A four-year engineering or construction degree is preferred.
- At least three years of field experience is required.
- Design-build experience is a plus.
- Advanced management or technical training is preferred.
- Extensive experience in similar facility construction estimating and related functions is required.
- Thorough knowledge of estimating, project management, and construction management is required.
- Strong organizational, supervision, decision-making, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office is required.
- Knowledge of HH2, ACC, Procore, and Timberline/Sage is preferred.
- Provide overall leadership and administration to the construction project and assist in establishing project-specific objectives and policies.
- Provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers.
- Enforce company and project policies.
- Maintain close client interface.
- Ensure all facets of the project are constructed in accordance with contract and design.
- Manage the project budget and financial reporting throughout the project.
- Update the schedule with support from subordinate managers, supervisors, and subcontractors.
- Perform functions and responsibilities in partnership with the company’s culture, corporate vision, ethics, and code of conduct.
- Represent the company to develop new business opportunities and relationships with new and existing clients.
- Provide leadership to the project team.
- Coordinate with owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors.
- Manage and help enforce safety on a daily basis.
- Review new project opportunities and establish estimates.
- Coordinate with subcontractors continuously.
- Oversee self-performed operations.
- Design-build experience is a plus.
