Requirements
  • At least 10 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor degree, or at least 8 years of experience with an Advanced Degree such as a Master's or MBA.
  • Typically 10–12+ years of relevant experience with a Bachelor's degree, ideally in management consulting, particularly in financial services or payments; card issuing, issuer processing, or card portfolio management; or large-scale migration programs.
  • Demonstrated experience leading or playing a core role in card or payment platform migrations, portfolio conversions, or similar large change programs.
  • Strong understanding of card network and issuing value chains.
  • Practical knowledge of issuer processing platforms and card management systems, including how their features and constraints influence migration strategy.
  • Strong structured thinking, comfort working with data, and ability to develop clear, fact-based recommendations and business cases.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to interact with and influence stakeholders across multiple levels, from working teams to senior management, internally and externally.
  • Confidence presenting complex topics in simple, business-friendly language.
  • Experience leading small teams or workstreams in a matrix or project environment.
  • Proven ability to work across functions, markets, and cultures.
  • Ability to remain calm, structured, and solutions-oriented under pressure.
  • Strong ownership mindset and high attention to detail.
  • Willingness to engage in both strategic and operational topics.
Responsibilities
  • Work closely with the Migration Practice Director and cross-functional Visa teams to design and deliver complex credit card migrations that are network-sound, customer-safe, and compliant.
  • Lead workstreams or small-to-medium engagements.
  • Contribute to enhancing Visa's migration playbooks and tools.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to client project teams.
  • Translate technical and operational considerations into clear business implications.
  • Support C-level and functional stakeholders through critical migration decisions.
Desired Qualifications
  • Prior experience with network or processor migrations, large portfolio or product migrations, or significant issuing platform changes.
  • Experience in Asia Pacific markets and understanding of local regulatory and payments landscapes.
  • Exposure to digital enablement, such as wallets, tokenisation, and real-time decisioning, in the context of card portfolios.
