Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of relevant work experience within category management or sales analysis
  • Experience pulling and analyzing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, Circana, GfK, etc)
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel / Office / PowerPoint skills
Responsibilities
  • Become the expert internally on category markets for various countries, as well as SharkNinja’s product portfolio
  • Analyzing and translating market data into actionable insights and recommendation on product assortments, pricing, positioning, and overcome competitive challenges to drive relevance and market share gains
  • Identify category gaps/opportunities for assigned countries where SharkNinja offers competitive differentiation and create sales stories that highlight strategic differences between our brands and competition, helping to increase distribution and placement
  • Leverage market data, consumer insights and independent research to identify or validate completely new category opportunities for our Innovation PD and Engineering teams, assessing the attractiveness and dependencies to successfully launch a new product in the category
  • Serve as voice of category/country/region in cross functional innovation development meetings, highlighting trends and opportunities for expansion within current categories and/or within adjacent categories where SharkNinja has a right to play
  • Assist in developing global breakthrough sales goals by country/category to support demand planning and global brand growth projections. Track & proactively communicate opportunity gaps and risks
