Requirements
  • Medical billing experience is required.
  • Previous experience in medical billing or healthcare administration is required.
  • Strong English communication with a clear, easy-to-understand accent is required.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy is required.
  • Comfort following standard operating procedures and structured workflows is required.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills are required.
  • Availability to work approximately 20 hours per week during CST working hours is required.
Responsibilities
  • Answer incoming calls and assist clients.
  • Schedule, reschedule, and manage appointments.
  • Respond professionally to emails and client inquiries.
  • Submit daily insurance claims through the electronic health record system.
  • Investigate and follow up on unpaid or rejected claims.
  • Reconcile billing to ensure payments match records.
  • Collect copayments at the start of each day.
  • Communicate with insurance companies regarding claims.
  • Maintain and clean up records within the system.
  • Update and enter accurate data into the electronic health record system.
  • Follow standard operating procedures for billing and administrative processes.
  • Create or update communication templates or scripts when needed.
Desired Qualifications
  • Experience with SimplePractice.
  • Experience with TherapyNotes.
  • Experience with Google Workspace, including Docs, Sheets, Drive, and Gmail.
