Requirements
  • 1+ years of experience buying Converged Television and Digital Video
  • Proficiency in video landscape including legacy and emerging media owners
  • Strong organizational and mathematical skills
  • Ability to multi-task and deliver work on-time for set deadlines
  • Ability to establish good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ability to work effectively with a variety of internal teams and business groups, including Creative, Account Management, Finance and Project Management
  • Ability to communicate effectively within a team environment, with outside media reps as well as with current clients
  • Must be prepared for a fast-paced environment and be comfortable making decisions
Responsibilities
  • Assist with negotiation and placement of video buys that deliver on the goals of the media plan
  • Manage the execution of video buys ensuring schedules are entered correctly and updated as needed
  • Ensure complete accuracy of buy details including budgets and guaranteed delivery goals
  • Partner with trafficking/ops teams to ensure delivery of creative assets
  • Assist with preparation of client buy overviews
  • Support agency Upfront and Scatter negotiations through plan analysis, recommendations, and negotiations
  • Stay up-to-date on video marketplace trends on macro and micro scale
  • Partner with the integrated media team to report on campaign performance not only against deal terms but also client-specific KPIs and objectives
  • Build and keep collaborative relationships with media partners
  • Remain in constant communication with agency team members and clients, as needed, to share status of campaigns, bring forward new opportunities, or raise awareness of any unexpected issues
  • Assist with development of industry POVs and thought leadership
  • Lead in collaboration with finance team members to resolve media billing issues
  • Ensure strict adherence to client budgets while meeting client objectives
  • Other duties/responsibilities may be assigned from time to time
