About the job
- A Bachelor of Engineering or Bachelor of Technology degree from a reputed college or university.
- 10 to 15 years of experience.
- Strong expertise in embedded systems testing and validation methodologies.
- Proven experience in test architecture for embedded and connected systems.
- Strong scripting skills in Python.
- Experience with Robo test frameworks and continuous integration systems.
- Experience with over-the-air validation, secure boot testing, cybersecurity validation, and device authentication mechanisms.
- Familiarity with hardware-in-loop setups, protocol analyzers, network analyzers, and debugging tools.
- Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery tools and DevOps practices in embedded environments.
- Strong understanding of performance, stress, scalability, and reliability testing for embedded and gateway platforms.
- Strong system-level debugging and root-cause analysis skills.
- Define end-to-end test architecture and validation strategy for embedded and Internet of Things/gateway platforms.
- Architect scalable test frameworks for embedded-based systems across device, middleware, connectivity, and application layers.
- Define automated validation approaches for embedded devices, gateways, edge systems, and cloud-connected platforms.
- Design and implement strategies for functional testing, system integration testing, connectivity testing, reliability and endurance testing, security validation, and over-the-air and upgrade validation.
- Architect automated test environments for Linux-based embedded products using continuous integration/continuous delivery and DevOps methodologies.
- Design scalable hardware-in-loop, simulation, and virtual test environments.
- Drive test automation initiatives for embedded platforms, gateways, and distributed edge systems.
- Evaluate artificial intelligence/machine learning-assisted testing, intelligent automation, synthetic data generation, and generative artificial intelligence-based test engineering workflows.
- Develop and improve continuous integration/continuous delivery pipelines, automated regression frameworks, and validation practices.
