A bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or Social Services is required.
Three years of behavioral health experience is preferred.
An associate license such as ASW (Associate Clinical Social Worker), AMFT (Associate Marriage & Family Therapist), or APCC (Associate Professional Clinical Counselor) is preferred.
A current BLS healthcare provider card is required upon hire.
Therapeutic Options training must be obtained before providing direct patient care without a preceptor.
Responsibilities
Provide case management, psychotherapeutic services, and discharge planning to patients and their families.
Serve as a member of the interdisciplinary team supporting the organization's treatment program and philosophy.
Help ensure quality treatment for patients and their families.
