About the Role

As Eppo enters its next phase of growth, we are seeking a Head of Finance to be the key driver in financial planning and analysis activities, owning our operating model and building rigor around our financial practices. You will be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership time, leveraging whatever financial inputs necessary to drive business decisions and operational efficiency as we scale. In addition, you will serve as a strategic business partner across all departments and provide critical support for organization-wide annual and quarterly planning, OKRs, investor relations, and other high impact operational work that tie into your finance responsibilities.

We are looking for someone who can wear multiple hats, thrives in ambiguity, and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves to get things done.

What you’ll do

• Own our finance function and partner with our outsourced Accounting team to maintain our financial model, conduct monthly financial reviews, and approve budget and expenses

• Be a strategic partner to the CEO and leadership, reflecting our financial across various departments to uncover business insights and influence company strategy

• Analyze our financial processes and systems and implement improvements to uplevel our financial rigor

• Work closely with the CEO and leadership team to define and track company-wide OKRs, as well as facilitate company-wide planning and review meetings

• Support the CEO with board relations, including board meeting prep and investor updates

What you’ll bring to the team

• Experience you bring to the table:

  • 8+ years in-house finance experience, building finance 0 to 1 at growth stage startups

  • Strong understanding of B2B SaaS financial planning and analysis, with advanced skills in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets

Compensation and Benefits

• Competitive salary including early team equity. The estimated salary range for this role is $200,000-$260,000 depending on experience.
